My name is Lia Sarjveladze, and I’m a senior pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at Dominican University New York, with an expected graduation date of May 2025. Originally from the Republic of Georgia, I am an international student passionate about leveraging technology to solve real-world problems. I’m particularly skilled in web development, programming, and database management, and I’m excited to apply my skills in diverse environments.
Along with my academic journey, I’ve had the privilege of working as a Web Development Intern at Purdue University's Data Mine, where I collaborated with a startup to develop a web-based Property Analysis Tool. My work experience has equipped me with valuable technical skills in Python, C#, and SQL and proficiency in creating and managing relational databases.
Additionally, as a Public Health Informatics Technology (PHIT) Intern at Sunshine Home Care, I contribute to data system management and modernization projects aimed at improving health information exchange and reporting processes. My role involves handling sensitive information, creating accurate labels, and organizing documents efficiently, further strengthening my organizational and data management expertise.
